Berkeley Lab has established policy and procedures regarding the employment of individuals who have retired from the University of California (UC), including former UC-managed Department of Energy labortories, into Rehired Retiree, Career, Term, or Affiliate appointments. Under certain conditions, these individuals may return to Berkeley Lab as consultants per the OCFO Consultants to Berkeley Lab, Hiring policy.
Supervisors interested in rehiring a retired Berkeley Lab or UC employee should consult their HR Division Partner.
